Sarina Grosswald, Ed.D.

Dr. Grosswald is an expert in cognitive learning and president of SJ Grosswald and Associates, a consulting firm in medical education in Arlington, Virginia. She has held positions at the American Medical Women’s Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Association of American Medical Colleges, NIH-funded National High Blood Pressure Education Program, and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Grosswald has published and lectured widely in the fields of medicine and education. She served on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, from which she received the Presidents Award, Fellow Award, and Distinguished Member Award.

Dr. Grosswald received a Doctorate in Education from George Washington University, specializing in adult learning and human resource development, and a Masters in Education from the University of North Carolina.

She recently directed a landmark research study into the effects of the Transcendental Meditation program on children with ADHD and language-based learning disabilities. Her recent research has been featured in Business Week, Newsweek, International Herald Tribune, Barron’s, and the Washington Examiner, ABC news, PBS, as well as on national radio shows.
